Here we have a brilliant work that students from the Second Course of "Servicios en Restauración" have prepared to be at the Halloween event in the Restaurant La Rosaleda.

One more year students from our institute have prepared several activities to celebrate this English-speaking tradition.

Not only students from the Vocational Training Course but also from Baccalaureate have done an amazing work.

HALLOWEEN FIRST PART 2015

One more year, my students and I have been participating in the Halloween activities that are scheduled by the bilingual teachers in our school since 2010.

This year it had to be different so we decided to play it the other way round: we would offer a candy in exchange for a donation for children in need, as the UNICEF Campaign for HALLOWEEN says. It has been a great challenge as well as an important mission.

I suggested that we looked at the web and participated doing some activities of the project.

WHAT HAVE WE ALL DONE?

1SR and 2SR students have designed several posters to illustrate the campaign and have also been working on the boxes and cans, using UNICEF materials to collect money.

1ME students have been collecting money during the whole week.

1OI students have also made a big poster explaining our purpose and aim which is to get 500€ for UNICEF.

Irene Lendinez, who was a student of ‘Servicios en Restauración' V.T.C. and now a student of a V.T.C. in Graphic Arts, designed a special box to collect money, too. 

It is important to underline the huge contribution of the teachers of the Graphic Arts Department on this occasion.

Today, students from the First Year of TSAAFD together with his teacher have prepared a flashmob during the break to celebrate Halloween at school!!! It was a superb show. Most of the students were having their snacks when a group of zombies started marching along the playground as the song Thriller from Michael Jackson was played.

One more year, many students at IES La Rosaleda, have been working and preparing some projects about Halloween.

Let me show you what some of them have done:

2. The Second Year Course Técnicos en Servicios en Restauración have done several activities that are explained clicking on the following link.
3. The First Year Course of the  Bilingual Baccalaureate as well as other courses of Baccalaureate have worked on this important document that you can consult clicking on this link.

Some bilingual students prepared a table to recreate a Halloween Photocall with the posters, then some of us took a picture there.

The English teacher in 1SR used these videos in class with the students and suggested the bilingual teachers to use them in our classes too:

GETTIING READY FOR HALLOWEEN 2013

Today students from the Second Year of “Técnicos en Servicio en Restauración” have brought two lovely cakes at Break Time. 

They wanted to try them because these cakes will be offered to the teachers next Thursday at Halloween Breakfast.

 It was very important to know how they taste so they can make the appropriate marketing campaign.

It has been a successful break!!!

The cakes were gorgeous, so now we can tell you:

HALLOWEEN AT I.E.S. " La Rosaleda"

On 25th October 2012, second year students in  "Técnicos en Servicios en Restauración” celebrated Halloween together in our Centre´s superb facilities.. They worked all week, preparing everything in order to create a "nice and comfortable" atmosphere. They decorated the restaurant and made lovely Menus in English for the  special occasion. They also designed some posters promoting   the event.

Te students recorded a 30 seconds promotion video which was shown throughout the school.
