SPEAK UP ETWINNING PROJECT 2020

El día 4 de noviembre del 2020, la profesora de FOL-inglés Mª Isabel Pérez se unió al proyecto Etwinning “SPEAK UP” para que los alumnos de primero y segundo del Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio “Técnicos en Servicios en Restauración” puedan mejorar sus competencias lingüísticas en la lengua inglesa. 

Hasta la fecha se han llevado a cabo dos actuaciones. La primera de ellas la han realizado un grupo de alumnos de primero para conmemorar el Día internacional de los inventores, el 9 de noviembre del 2020 en donde los alumnos prepararon una ficha con los datos más importantes de un inventor o inventora española y luego se creó un único documento con todas las fichas.  

 

La segunda actividad se ha llevado a cabo por alumnos del segundo curso para participar en el Día internacional contra la violencia de género, 25 de noviembre del 2020. Los alumnos hicieron una foto donde ellos eran los protagonistas reivindicando su papel dentro de las tareas domésticas o llamando la atención sobre determinados comportamientos que no deben de repetirse. Con todas las fotos se creó una presentación power point y dos murales ,los cuales se pusieron en el aula.

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

 

The main aim is to encourage students to speak and explain themselves in target language (English). With the partner school(s) every month or week we will define a new topic and the students will have chance to express their opinions in English. Also, we will supply online meetings and discuss the topics online... And also, after every topic the students will write and share their opinions with the other students who are the part of partner schools.

 

OBJETIVES

The aim objective is to encourage students to talk and express themselves in target language.

WORKING PROCESS

The process is one school year. Every month or week we will define a topic; it can be any important topic from all over the world; for example, the forest wildfires or animal rights etc. so we will make our students discuss about those topics and share their ideas by searching beforehand. Therefore, they can also have the chance to improve their general knowledge by searching and learning.

EXPECTED RESULTS

At the end the expectation is to have more confident students while speaking a target language. We want to make their English more fluently and knowledgeable about the important issues all around the world.
